While I don’t begrudge them changing to a more sustainable business model, I’ve had other companies do change models but offer existing customers much longer than the 3 months I got for this app. Just click on a symbol to copy its name for use in code or designs. They then pulled the rug out of everyone’s feet and shifted to this different model and I was given only 3 months of updates/support for an app I’d purchased outright with no notion of a support period. Also, read how I use CleanShot X to grab amazing screenshots every day. As a criticism though, the app used to be sold under a perpetual license and I purchased it on sale when it has that model. It’s a quality app but not worth this price to me. If you’re taking screenshots throughout the day and need advanced features like annotations, sharing etc frequently then it’s worth it.
